Veterinarian: Dr. Summer Quirsfeld opened Violet Veterinary Clinic in May of 2013. She is a 2011 Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine Graduate. Summer is married to Brent Quirsfeld and they reside in Odem, Texas with their new baby girl Emma Jo, born in August 2014. They have two horses Clara and Cody, a 10-year-old lab, Maggie, three cats, Trippy, Lucy and Paco, and two chickens.
Practice Manager: Staci Moore is a 2012 Texas A&M Kingsville graduate, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Studies. Staci keeps busy caring for her three beautiful Australian Shepherds, Whistler, Boomer, and Aussie. She also enjoys fishing the South Texas coastline, kayaking, and bow hunting.
Veterinary Technician: Jonah Valdez began working as the clinic’s veterinary technician in the fall of 2014. He graduates from Calallen High School in May of 2015 and will be attending UTSA to major in Mechanical Engineering.
Veterinary Technician/Receptionist: Tiffany Bowmer joined us in the Spring of 2015. She is a 2014 Calallen High School Graduate and is currently attending the Del Mar Veterinary Technician School. She plans to complete the Cedar Valley College Veterinary Technology Two Year Program. Apart from spending time with her two dogs Blaze and Tiki, Tiffany enjoys camping, and jetskiing.
